Official Rules and Regulations
Who can enter:
The drawing is open to Hearing Health Providers that are U.S. residents, and above the age of majority in their state of residence. The drawing is void where prohibited. Employees or agents of Renata Batteries, Swatch US, Sy Kessler Sales, Inc., Magnatone, or any affiliate organizations, including without limitation, advertising and promotional agencies, including any such employees' or agents' immediate family members or household members, are not eligible to enter.
How to enter:
Any qualified person can enter by contacting www.audiology.com or sales@sykessler.com, or by fax to 800-832-9871 or by dropping off a business card at various hearing industry trade shows where you see the sign "Take the Renata Challenge." Entries will be accepted between April 18 and December 31, 2007. All qualified entries will be treated equally. All information provided in connection with this drawing shall be treated in accordance with Sy Kessler Sales privacy policy. Although no purchase is necessary to win, qualified customers purchasing during the promotional period shall automatically be entered. The "Renata Challenge" shall be the sole and exclusive property of Sy Kessler Sales, Inc.
Entry Limits:
Entrance is limited to one entry per e-mail address. All Entrants must provide accurate e-mail address to be eligible to win the drawing. By entering the drawing all Entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules and Regulations, as posted, and all eligibility requirements. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Neither Renata Batteries, Swatch, Sy Kessler Sales, Inc., Magnatone, or any affiliate organizations are responsible for inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect entry of information. This includes, but is not limited to, human error, lost data transmission or any other technical errors including line failures of any telephone, computer or networking equipment or any software. Any entries found to be tampered with or altered in any way will be void. Renata Batteries, Sy Kessler Sales, Inc., or Magnatone, reserves the right to cancel and re-schedule the drawing at any time.
Selection of Winner:
Drawing entries will be accepted through Dec 31, 2007. The drawing winner will be chosen by a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about January 15, 2008. The Winner will be notified via the submitted email address and will have 20 days from the date they are notified to redeem the prize. Failure to respond within 20 days of notification will result in the disqualification of the Winner and the selection of an alternate Winner. Should the alternate Winner fail to respond or choose not to accept the prize, the prize will be returned to inventory and the drawing will be discontinued. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries for the drawing received.
The Prize:
The prize will be 2 round-trip airline tickets (economy class), from New York's JFK, to Zurich, Switzerland. First Class train tickets from Zurich International to a town near to the Renata factory are included, along with a factory tour, a short hearing aid battery-training program, and dinner with a member of Renata's management team. Black-out dates apply. Tickets must be reserved at least 40 days prior to departure - and are subject to availability. The Winner may select one person to use the 2nd ticket. Travel must commence before December 1, 2008. Each Winner's right to their prize is nontransferable and non-saleable. Once issued, the tickets become the property of the winner, and have no cash value. Frequent flier miles may not be accrued. Denied-boarding compensation will not be permitted in conjunction with these tickets. Each winner is solely responsible for all costs not included in the basic package including, but not limited to, income taxes, airport and security taxes including the September 11th security fee, federal, state and/or local taxes related to the prize they have won.

General rules:
By participating in the drawing, each Entrant agrees to release and hold Renata Batteries, Swatch, Sy Kessler Sales, Inc., Magnatone, and any affiliate organizations, and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents and representatives harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the drawing or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Each Winner agrees, as a precondition for the receipt of any prize, to execute all releases and other documentation reasonably requested.
Each Winner may be required to sign and return a release of liability, declaration of eligibility, and, where lawful, a publicity consent agreement, all within 20 days of acknowledged notification. By accepting the prize, each Winner agrees to the use of his/her name, voice and/or likeness for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to timely return the completed and executed declaration and releases as required in a timely fashion, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the individual that submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account.
If, for any reason, the drawing is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Renata Batteries, Swatch, Sy Kessler Sales, Inc., Magnatone, or any affiliate organizations, which corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the drawing, Renata Batteries, Swatch US, Sy Kessler Sales, Inc., Magnatone, or any affiliate organizations reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the drawing.
This drawing, and all promotions relating thereto, are subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This drawing, and any promotions relating thereto, including the interpretation of these Official Rules and Regulations, are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and, by entering the drawing, each entrant submits to the personal jurisdiction of the State of Texas.
